Conrad serves as president of Con-Fab Welding, Inc. He created Con-Fab in 1984 from the ground up and has built the company into a major steel fabricator doing business across the United States. Conrad is an accomplished engineering and manufacturing leader with over 40+ years of experience in fabrication, welding, and industrial operations.
As President of Con-Fab, Conrad provides strategic direction and direct leadership across all aspect of the company’s operations, from engineering to project management to production and quality assurance. His background in mechanical engineering, along with the discipline and work ethic developed through military service, has established Con-Fab as a trusted partner known for precision craftmanship, reliability, and client-driven solutions.
Prior to starting Con-Fab, Conrad worked at the former Gulf Oil Corporate for 15 years in various engineering leadership roles. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and graduated from Louisiana Tech with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He currently serves on the Louisiana Tech Mechanical Engineering Advisory Council.
Von serves as Vice President, overseeing both sales and production operations with a focus on driving growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Von works closely with teams across the organization to align sales strategy with production capabilities ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. His hands-on approach, commitment to quality, and dedication to building lasting client relationships have played a key role in the company’s continued success and operational excellence.
